Choose Brightspace for peace of mind!!! No cowboys, only professionals...I have heard horror stories from my friends about incomplete projects, disappearing tradesmen and shoddy jobs that needed complete overhauls. However, the principal theme in those stories were that they chose cheap over anything else.I was apprehensive when I contacted Brightspace over email in Feb 2023. The reply was prompt and quick. I received a quote which was not cheap, but I thought was reasonable in the post-pandemic market. Quality comes with a price and I was not going to burn my hand with a poorly built extension which will come to bite me when I want to sell the house. Following a few months hiatus, while I was busy with life, I finally talked with Mark for a revised quotation and applied for finance from the bank which was approved in June 2023.Once I informed Mark, his first visit was on end of June, following which we signed the contract in a couple of days. To my surprise, the work began on 3rd of July. (I have heard people waiting for more than 1 year for their work to begin with reputed companies). Within just one week, the foundation and walls were done. There was a pause for a month – the floor and walls got some time to cure and settle in and the workshops was manufacturing the glass panels and roof structures. The pre-fabricated materials were supplied in August. The lads were back on 14th of August. The carpenter, electrician, plasterers, plumbers, insulation everything was done within ONLY 2 weeks, and they packed up by 25th Aug. Therefore, the project took only 3 working weeks to finish – I did not expect it to get over so fast. Niall took care of the project in fantastic precision. His communication was flawless, and we received message from him about every step of the process. The tradesmen were all highly professional and skilled. No shoddy jobs. They left the site spotless everyday before leaving. Most of the days we were not even at our house, and they made sure to enter and exit the house after locking the doors.Special mention about Mark, Christine and Trish in the customer care team, the project manager Niall, Donal the builder and his crew, Jack the carpenter and the roofer and Stephen the electrician all of whom were extremely friendly and professional in their dealings.I did not have to stress about anything throughout the project and the whole process was non-intrusive. Our schedules were not affected, and we continued with our daily life without any interruption while the extension was being built.Also, Brightspace contacted and arranged for a chartered engineer to visit and provide a certificate for the extension. I also received a certificate from the electrician about the quality of the work.Thanks to Brightspace for doing a fantastic job throughout.

We needed an overhaul of our old conservatory that was leaking. Mark,Peter, Niall and their team worked with us to create a new sunroom. Communication was excellent on each step of the work. Our conservatory, which had been installed by Johnstown Conservatories almost 20 years ago had withstood the test of time well, however we decided that it was time for a change and opted for a solid roof replacement from Brightspace. From start to finish, the work was carried out promptly, on schedule, and to a very high standard. We were able to see each stage of the work as it progressed and the quality of the materials, design and workmanship were apparent at every stage. The job is now complete and we are delighted with our beautiful 'new' room, which is very much part of the house and has a very different feel to it than the conservatory.A special word of thanks to all the guys for the time and care that they took to minimise the impact of the ongoing work on the rest of the house and gardens, which we really appreciated. We have just had our sunroom built by Brightspace and to say that we are delighted with the build is an understatement. Everything went so smoothly. From the moment we walked into the showroom and met Mark who guided us through the different possibilities for the room, Niall who project managed the build excellently through to Donal Monaghan’s building crew who turned up on time every day and worked so hard. The Brightspace team who erected The frames paid so much attention to detail and made such an effort to ensure that everything was perfect was so comforting to us that we knew everything was going to be perfect. So thank you Jack Burke and his colleagues for that. The plasterers Nigel and Denis were artists what else can I say. Deccie the plumber and Stephen the electrician just produced more excellent work and were so accommodating to our needs. Everybody that was involved in the project were so friendly and finally all the lads that worked on site cleaned up after themselves everyday. We were dreading the thought of the build but everything was done in only four weeks and was painless. Well other than having to pay for it of course. We first had our conservatory fitted over 23 years ago by Brightspace and it was well overdue an upgrade. Mark (again) and his team, with Joe at the helm, were on hand to do another amazing job that will serve us for another 23 years! There is a personal touch to dealing with Brightspace and it's impossible not to make a few new friends as they are simply treat you as one of their own. After they’ve finished up, the only thing you notice is the new conservatory as everything is cleaned and absolutely nothing is left behind to do. They take extreme care with not damaging lawns, driveways etc. to the point you’d never know they had been. Another and probably more important aspect is that the materials used will last for years and years and apart from cleaning, there will never be any need for further maintenance. I would happily recommend them 100% and would be on-hand to talk to anyone if needed for references. Our complete experience with Brightspace, from the initial survey to the final installation, was extremely positive. It was a pleasure to deal with them. We are thrilled with the extension that Brightspace completed for us. From start to finish, they were a pleasure to deal with. Mark came to our house and spent hours designing it to meet our specific needs.During the project, people were on site each morning by 8am and completed the job in under 5 weeks. We've just had our conservatory converted to a fabulous sunroom. I was concerned the insulated roof would darken the attached kitchen but Mark and the team assured me they could ensure this wouldn't happen. They were right, in fact with the lovely roof windows I now have a brighter kitchen. Every single member of the team I dealt with was extremely professional, friendly and courteous they all turned up on time and left the area spotless. The daily check in calls from the project manager Niall were something I haven't experienced before and were very welcome. We're now looking forward to using our sunroom throughout the year. Punctuality is very important when one is getting a job done on the house and Joe and Kevin did not disappoint. They arrived on the button of 8 a.m. to install a white veranda. They got down to work immediately , no messing around. You will be very lucky if you manage to get these two guys to do a job for you They are skilled in every way and very polite. We were about to get a sunroom fitted and a near neighbour had a similar install being done by Brightspace. They couldn't recommend Brightspace highly enough, so we went with them too. It was one of the best referrals I've ever had.From start to finish the team at Brightspace were a pleasure to deal with. Brightspace did a Roof Conversion to our conservatory and we are extremely pleased with the workmanship. Mark came to visit us to advise on the project. I had the idea of adding a conservatory to my house. I was pleased to receive detailed advice from Brightspace. I was given a view of how it would look later and exactly how much it would cost. It's a hefty sum, but one I'm happy to invest in a reputable company. I was also given the deadlines until completion and, despite the international crises, they were met. The teams worked hard and each did their part. I am happy that the result meets my expectations and I can hardly wait to place the furniture in it. But before that, the new building has to dry for a few weeks. I'm curious what my neighbours will say about it and I'm happy to recommend Brightspace.

Brightspace completed a roof conversion on our existing conservatory. We found them a pleasure to deal with right from the order phase through to its completion some three weeks later. The entire team were a pleasure to deal with, very prompt, conscious of cleaning up and all work was completed to a very high standard. We can only say that we are more than happy with the conversion of our conservatory to a Sunroom. Brightspace were excellent in every way. These days it is rare to find a company so professional. They had built our conservatory 18 years ago and we never had a day’s trouble with the build or afterwards. So when we decided we wanted to roof it they were the 1st people we went back to. They visited and completed a technical survey and gave us sound advice before arranging the contract. From the word go we were kept up to date with the different stages of the project. Every evening we either got a text or call letting us know what would happen the next day and asking were we happy with the progress of that day. The workmen were very professional, punctual and so so tidy, they were very easy to chat to if we had any query. Our existing room was completely covered and protected before removing the roof. The area outside was covered with plastic sheeting to protect the grass and paths. We are very happy with the finish and we now have a well-insulated and cozy room. We would not hesitate to recommend Brightspace to my extended family and friends.
