The client also wanted the room open plan to incorporate the room as part of the home. A grey colour was selected externally, for a contemporary looking sunroom and 3 roof window to maximize the light.
The garden was a split level garden. Most of the garden was raised up higher than the house floor level, therefore a lot of excavation would be required to construct our foundations and floor.
The deck had to be removed to a skip, and we had to extend the wall of the house slightly, to achieve the required width for the new TV room. The design was to be spacious enough for a family TV room but not so big that it would overtake the garden.
Anthracite grey on white frames were used, for a contemporary look. 3 roof windows were installed to maximize light. Ornamental pillars were constructed to create an extension look and feel.
We used picture frame windows to enhance the view of the garden. The doors were positioned front center, to open out to the deck that would be constructed once we were finished.
A bright, spacious, cosy, contemporary room for all the family to enjoy all year round. The clients were delighted with how big the sunroom felt, but still they had more than enough garden left over. The new sunroom had not darkened down the inside rooms and they felt that the new sunroom had the effect of bringing the newly landscaped garden, into the home.

from day one of the build, we had zero issues from start to finish and everything was completed on time and at the agreed price. The guys were professional, clean, and very nice and friendly to deal with, and in the background, Mark and the team managed the project flawlessly, going above and beyond, we are delighted we chose Brightspace for our new sunroom
