Brightspace completed a roof conversion on our existing conservatory. We found them a pleasure to deal with right from the order phase through to its completion some three weeks later. The entire team were a pleasure to deal with, very prompt, conscious of cleaning up and all work was completed to a very high standard. We can only say that we are more than happy with the conversion of our conservatory to a Sunroom. Brightspace were excellent in every way. These days it is rare to find a company so professional. They had built our conservatory 18 years ago and we never had a day’s trouble with the build or afterwards. So when we decided we wanted to roof it they were the 1st people we went back to. They visited and completed a technical survey and gave us sound advice before arranging the contract. From the word go we were kept up to date with the different stages of the project. Every evening we either got a text or call letting us know what would happen the next day and asking were we happy with the progress of that day. The workmen were very professional, punctual and so so tidy, they were very easy to chat to if we had any query. Our existing room was completely covered and protected before removing the roof. The area outside was covered with plastic sheeting to protect the grass and paths. We are very happy with the finish and we now have a well-insulated and cozy room. We would not hesitate to recommend Brightspace to my extended family and friends.

We were absolutely delighted with the work done by the Brightspace team. From start to finish, the team were professional in their approach. We originally met with Mark who spent a lot of time understanding our requirements and answering our questions and skilfully advising on the best possible solution to meet our needs. The team kept us fully updated throughout the process and all steps were clearly communicated both verbally and in writing. When it came time to complete the build, we were impressed by the very high standards and professionalism from everyone involved. In particular, they treated our home with respect and were very considerate throughout the job. The project was completed very efficiently and we received regular updates to explain next steps and timings. Our experience with Brightspace was positive from start to finish. All of the work was done to the highest standard and although access to the site was challenging, it was never an issue for them. Brightspace are very customer focused and any queries were dealt with immediately. In fact, we felt like we were dealing with a large family rather that a building company. We were nervous about building our extension due to negative experiences of family and friends when building their's but we were reassured by Brightspace's professionalism in the early stages and this continued to the end of the work.

There are few companies we have engaged over our life time (now retired) who deserve 5 star rating but with all honesty Brightspace deserves all and more. From the very first engagement, advice given was in our interest and never a hard sell, their expertise in all aspects, from Gov regulations to ensuring least disruption to ourselves and our neighbours. What is most important to everyone thinking of doing something similar is the quality and finish. There are many skills needed in the work provided, a small project is no different to a large project you need many skilled professionals. This is where Brightspace excels they project manage each step calling on different teams of experts when needed. Finally great care protecting our home during the process was very much appreciated and when finished the cleanup was just as impressive. Following lots of research and reviews we met with Brightspace at their offices in Johnstown gardenCentre to discuss replacing our old conservatory with a new sunroom.From the first meeting with Mark to discuss options and to the subsequent survey and proposal all went very professionally.We agreed the price and date.Have to say they arrived on time and the initial build was completed on time. All the team were exceptional , professional and great at their jobs and a pleasure to deal with.At the completion of each stage their supervisor Niall contacted us frequently to keep us updated and field any questions .Job was finished on time and we are delighted with the result .When you look at such an outlay there is always a slight worry about choosing the right company. But I have say that we would highly recommend Brightspace and their team and definitely use them again.They did exactly as promised and some. Highly recommended.

We just finished our house extension with Brightspace and are extremely satisfied with them.Since the first conversation we understood that we were speaking to a professional, accurate and reliable company. Their brochures and website alone already show how much care they put into the clients.We have been assisted in defining all the details according to our needs and preferences. Any concern and observation raised has been taken very seriously. Any suggestion offered has been in all honesty and in our own interest, unlike other companies we spoke to.After this phase, the project has been finalised in only 3 months, the execution has been planned with several teams of professionals alternating in each phase.

From when we first spoke to Mark about our project he immediately answered all of our questions and our concerns. We had been planning for a room general living space for some time but after speaking with multiple contractors we had made little progress due to some small challenges (no side entrance & sewer cover in the garden), but mark explained that while these were inconvenient, they were not show stoppers in any way. From that point on, we had full confidence in Mark and the brightspace team.From day one of the build, we had zero issues from start to finish and everything was completed on time and at the agreed price. The guys were professional, clean, and very nice and friendly to deal with, and in the background, Mark and the team managed the project flawlessly, going above and beyond and even helping and advising us in relation to our Bank and other legal/financial processes.I could not recommend BrightSpace (and the guys at Open Plan Homes) enough, our home and our lives have been transformed and we could not be happier with the results.
